30 January 2020 | by Hufsa Munawar No Comments

The world has been changing gradually since its origin, however, there are a few human factors that have been accelerating these unhealthy and lethal changes to an alarming rate, such as ozone depletion, Australian wildfire and now, another serious viral disease is on the loose. It is the unhealthy activities of human beings that have brought the world to the verge of destruction.

Speaking of viruses, Coronavirus was originated in the 1960s. It infected both animals and humans. Before this time, it was considered to be a common cold virus that spreads through sneezing, coughing or touching the patient’s hands. The virus’s name is coronavirus due to its crown shape. Coronavirus can spread through the year but it usually spreads more quickly in fall and winters. The virus can affect people of all ages but is most likely to affect the infants.

The recent outbreak of coronavirus has been thought to be originated from bat soup consumption in China. It is so dangerous that since its outbreak, more than 3000 people have been affected by it only in China. Now, the virus has spread to many other parts of the world as well, including Pakistan. It is easily transferrable and chances are that if a healthy person breathes near an infected person, he would easily catch this virus.

Common symptoms of coronavirus are similar to that of common cold and influenza. A person might be having a sore throat, mild headache, fever, cough and cold and yet not know that it could be the deathly virus.
